Kairi plopped down on the dock facing the play island, swinging her legs back and forth; her toes brimming the surface of the sea. Turning to her right and grabbing up a smoothed stone, she lazily chucked it to the water. She sighed. No one had really been on the islands lately—at all. She wasn’t one hundred percent positive where Sora and Riku were, but, she figured, they were training with Yen Sid and the King. Since they’d refused to let her come along for the second time, she spent the days that followed their departure just sitting and waiting. For any sort of sign of them, or how they were, where they were..anything. She’d be lying if she said that Selphie was of any company. She was always with her other friends. Kairi looked down, frowning. Her trio was scattered..
Envy, who magically appeared out of nowhere, as per usual, noticed the red head from a far. She wasn’t one who would introduce herself, so she walked over to her area and knelt, watching to see what she would do. “Are you alright?” She asked the girl quietly, not wanting to startle her.
Kairi squeaked, spinning around and gazing up at the girl before her. “I-I’m fine.” Kairi stammered. Not wanting to be rude she cautiously stood up and smiled “I’m Kairi.”
